Kieffer, who died here in 1910, passed away this morning at 9:00 o’clock at St. Mary’s hospital. She had been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. H. J. Boerke, 812 Single avenue. Funeral arrangements have not been made." Source: Wausau Record Herald, Jan. 27, 1926 edition, pg 4, located at Wausau library "Mrs. Agatha Kieffer, who died yesterday morning at St. Mary’s hospital, will be buried Friday morning following funeral services at St. Mary’s church at 9:00 o’clock, the Rev. J.B. Hauck officiating and interment will be in Pine Grove cemetery. Mrs. Kieffer was born April 23, 1849, in Alsace-Loraine, France, and came to America in 1871 and in 1883 moved to Wausau. She was the widow of John B. Kieffer who died here fifteen years ago. Mrs. Kieffer was a member of the Christian Mothers society. She is survived by five sons, Clement, Albert, Frank and Edward Kieffer of Wausau and Louis Kieffer of Antigo; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Zerhere of Minneapolis and Mrs. Hilmer Boerke of Wausau; one sister, M. Lumena of Porto Rico (sic); thirty-five grandchildren and three great grandchildren." If anyone has any connection or information of this family I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks! Kathleen
