Carl A. Hintz, 80, 504 N. Second Ave., died at his home at 10:10 p.m. Saturday after a long illness. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Stephen Lutheran Church. The Rev. Ervin Seidel will officiate, and burial will be in Town of Berlin Cemetery. Friends may call at Helke West Chapel after 3 p.m. Tuesday. Mr. Hintz was born Feb. 13, 1888, in the Town of Stettin, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hintz. On Aug. 13, 1925, in Wausau, he married Eva Kolbe, who survives. Mr. Hintz was a general cement contractor. Survivors, besides his wife, include four brothers, Otto, 1012 N. Second Ave., Albert, Town of Stettin, Edward, Tripoli, and Arnold, Wabeno.
