The Wild Rose Historical Society will be unveiling and dedicating a plaque in honor of William Knights one of the founders of the Gideons who lived the greatest part of his life in Wild Rose. The Plaque is located on the Wild Rose museum site on Main Street on the sidewalk leading to the Elisha Stewart house next to the porch. The dedication will take place at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 31, 2005. The plaque is to honor Mr. Knights for his work but even more important it is to show how one person can make a difference.
