I believe your George Topham Sr's sister Mary Topham was married to my greatgreatgrandfather Francis Bampton in England. Unfortunately I have not proven yet that they either divorced or Mary Topham passed away in England. They had two known children who came to the USA with Francis. Francis married a second time and came to the USA. George Topham Sr. (spelled Toffham on 1870 Connecticut - Wallingford - New Haven Census) with Sarah lived in Connecticut abt 1870 with my greatgreatgrandfathers family. They both came to Wisconsin before the 1880 Census, and lived nearby (next door) in Dancy, Wisconsin. I have more information on the Topham family. If you have questions e-mail me privately. Thank you
