Being new to this list I thought I would post some information about my family. My mother was born Anna Lenore Buttke in Boaz, Wisconsin (my mother and father are both still living, age 82, and celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary this year.) Her father was Carl F. Buttke (b. 28 OCT 1875) also in Boaz. Carl was married to Martha Angeline Sutton (b. 3 SEP 1885) in Boscobel, Wisconsin. Carl and Martha are buried at the Boaz Cemetery in Boaz, Wisconsin. Carl's father was Frederick Buttke. He was born in Germany and died in Wisconsin 5 MAR 1911. I would love to correspond with any Buttke's on this list to exchange information. Although I was born in Boaz, Wisconsin myself, I haven't had much chance to get to that part of the country. I was raised in the Washington, D.C. area, but now live in New Hampshire.
