    3. There were plenty of KOPPAs in Sacred Heart R.C. parish in Cassel, midway between Marathon City and Edgar. Was your Prosper a Cassel KOPPA? I would think there are some buried out in Cassel. 3. Hello list, I have 3 sisters who are descendants of Richard W. Brotherton who resided in Colby most of his married life. These gals are coming to WI from California to see the old home grounds, and their ancestors graves. They will be arriving June 21. My records show that Richard W. Brotherton and his wife Sophia Haseltine died in Colby, or Hull. The 1920 census lists them in Hull, Marathon Co. WI. dates I have: Richard W. Brotherton (son of Miner C. Brotherton and Jane Roberts) b. 25 Nov 1843, Catherine, Schulyer Co., NY or 24 Nov 1844, Geneva, Ontario Co., NY d. 3 Apr 1925, Hull, Marathon Co., WI or or Apr 5, 1925 , Colby, Marathon Co., WI Sophia Brotherton (dau. Rev. William B. Haseltine and Sarah Porter Woodruff) b. 29 Dec 1850, Crown Point, Essex Co., NY d. 24 Mar 1925, Colby, Marathon Co., WI It appears that some of their children were born around Black River Falls, Jackson co, WI and others around Baraboo, Sauk Co, WI. (Rev. Haseltine married this couple in 1880 at Black River Falls. The Haseltine homestead is in Baraboo township.) Is there an index for cemeteries in the Colby area, or does anyone happen to know where this couple is buried? I am assuming that they were Methodists. A couple of the children were married in Hull 1899 and 1900. Any help would be greatly appreaciated. Kathy Parkinson
