He passed away last evening at 10:20 o’clock after an illness of four weeks, suffering from typhoid pneumonia. He was born in Wausau and was 20 years old, one month and two days. He leaves besides his parents, two brothers, John Jr. and Leslie, and one sister, Vesta. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon. The service at the house will begin at 1:30 o’clock and at the Presbyterian Church at 2 o’clock. The Rev Frederick Werhahn will conduct both services. The cause of the young man’s illness is thought to have been a rain in which he got caught and drenched. It chilled him and the effects brought on a cold, which later developed into the sickness that claimed him in death.
