Apoplexy was given as the cause of his death. The deceased was born in Germany, December 28, 1865, and came to this country thirty-eight years ago. He was united in marriage with Miss Elizabeth Buss in Schofield in the year 1886. He was a barber by trade and conducted a shop on the west side for many years until his health finally forced him to retire from active work. Mr. Maibach was a member of the Catholic Knights, the Schofield camp of Modern Woodmen and the Barber's Master Union of Wausau. He leaves his widow and three children, Mrs. W. H. Wendorf and Mrs. Walter Reich of Schofield and Mrs. Fred Ulrich of Wausau, and six grandchildren. His funeral will be conducted Thursday morning at St. Mary's church by Rev. Fr. J. B. Hauck. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's cemetery.
