At the parsonage of St. Stephen's church at 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon occurred the marriage of Miss Hilda Raduechel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gustave Raduechel, and Albert Volkmann, son of William Volkmann of the town of Texas. The Rev. William Spiegel performed the ceremony with Miss Florence Raduechel, a cousin of the bride, attending as maid of honor and Charles Volkmann, brother of the bridegroom as best man. The bride was attired in an ankle length gown of ivory satin and a long veil of embroidered net and carried a shower bouquet of Ophelia roses and white snapdragons. The maid of honor wore maize chiffon, and carried carnations and pink and yellow snapdragons. A reception at the home of the bride's parents followed and in the evening 250 guests were entertained at a dancing party at the Colonial hall in the town of Weston. White wedding bells and streamers in pastel shades decorated the home and the dance hall. The out of town guests present were Mrs. T. E. Suehring and daughter Amanda, Mr. and Mrs. August Jeske and August Day of Shawano and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Vickery and daughter, Charlotte of Kalamazoo, Mich. Mr. and Mrs. Volkman will be at home immediately to friends and will reside with the bride's parents at 318 Humboldt avenue.
