He had worked as a beater engineer at the paper mill, retiring in 1953, after working there 44 years. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 8:45 o'clock in the Barden-Peterson Funeral Home and at 9 o'clock in St. Michael's Catholic Church. The Rev. John Krasowski will officiate and burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park. The body will be at the funeral home tomorrow at 2 o'clock, where the rosary will be said Monday night at 8 o'clock. Mr. Loss was born July 28, 1883, in Stevens Point and was married in Wausau Aug. 21, 1909, to Elizabeth Sann. He had located here shortly before that time and after their marriage the couple moved to Brokaw. He was a member of Wausau Lodge 1576, Loyal Order of Moose. Surviving are the widow; two sons, William Loss, in the Army in Korea, and Jerome Loss, Brokaw, a daughter, Mrs. Leslie Kleinschmidt, Merrill, five brothers, Frank Loss, Oconomowoc, and Michael, Joseph, Edward and David Loss, Stevens Point, and two sisters, Mrs. Gustave Monholt, Birnamwood, and Mrs. Faye Paschak, Stevens Point.
