Gustave Ludwig Zahrt, 72, 1812 Mathie St., died suddenly this morning at 6:20 o'clock in his home, apparently of a sudden heart attack. Coroner Herbert Lambert, Edgar, said that his death was due to natural causes. Funeral services will be Friday morning at 10:30 o'clock in the Helke Funeral Home and that afternoon at 2 o'clock in Zion Lutheran Church, with the Rev. P. W. Roehrs officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in the spring. The body will be taken to the church after the morning rites. Mr. Zahrt was born Oct. 10, 1885, in the Town of Easton, the son of the late Carl and Bertha Zahrt. He was married Oct. 14, 1916, in the Town of Easton and his wife, Mrs. Hattie Zahrt, survives. The couple formerly operated a farm. Besides the widow, surviving are two daughters, the Misses Irene and Myrtle Zahrt, 1812 Mathie St.; three brothers, Herman Zahrt, 826 Lincoln Ave., Louis Zahrt, Town of Easton, and Alfred Zahrt, 1714 W. Porter St., and two sisters, Mrs. Ernestine Wenzel, Town of Texas, and Miss Anna Zahrt, 1716 W. Porter St.
