He had been seriously ill four days. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. in St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in the Town of Knowlton. The Rev. Jerome Kamla will officiate and burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery at Mosinee. The body will be in the Beste Funeral Home at Mosinee tonight. Mr. Pelot was born in Poland Dec. 29, 1882, and came to this country at the age of 11 years. A farmer most of his life, he married the former Pauline Anik at Siegel, Wood County, in 1903. She died in 1944. Survivors include six sons, Anton, Town of Bergen, Leopold, Junction City Route 2, Louis, Chicago, Felix and Leo, both of Mosinee Route 4, and Joseph Jr., Gary, Ind., three daughters, Mrs. John Dunay, Phoenix, Ariz., Mrs. Michael Catlin, Junction City Route 1, and Mrs. Hersel Janz, Junction City Route 2; three brothers, John and James, of Rudolph, and Elmer, Arpin; 35 grandchildren, and 53 great-grandchildren.
