Grade, 71, 910 Chicago Ave., a resident of the city for 68 years, died yesterday morning at 12:55 o'clock in a local hospital. Her death followed a lingering illness. Funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Ervin Seidel Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock in St. Stephen's Lutheran Church and interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. The body is in the Helke Funeral Home and will be in the church Wednesday afternoon from 2:15 o'clock until the time of the rites. Private services for members of the family will be conducted tomorrow evening in the funeral home. A native of Daber, Germany, Mrs. Grade was born Sept. 20, 1887, the daughter of the late Herman and Ida Schultz Finger. She came to this country and to Wausau with her parents in 1890 and was married in the city on Jan. 12, 1907, to August J. Grade. He died Aug. 5, 1949. Mrs. Grade was a life member of the Missionary Federation at St. Stephen's Church. Surviving are a daughter, Miss Viola Grade, 910 Chicago Ave.; a brother, Reinhold Finger, 629 Humboldt Ave., and a sister, Mrs. August Hafemann, 706 Humboldt Ave.
