She came to the US with her parents Christian and Marta Anderson, along with an older sister Anna, born Sept. 22, 1859. According to Martha's mother's natualization records, Marta was born April 19, 1839 in Soler or Soles, Norway. The family left Norway from Christiana on June 10, 1866 and arrived at the port of Detroit on the Great Northern Railroad on Aug. 12, 1866. They settled in Wausau, Marathon County, Wisconsin. I have not been able to find the family in Wisconsin or Norway. Marta applied for citizenship in 1906 in Kidder County, North Dakota. She said her husband, Christ Olsen, died in 1901 in Minnesota. I'm assuming, Christ Olsen, may have been her 2nd husband. Any assistance is most appreciated!! Thanks! Kathie
