Hi there, since there are tons of obit inquiries lately...could you please provide a listing of the "free" WI-obit-listings sites? Any other site that would direct into a WI obit site? And/or "your" favorite methods to obtain obits. "Free" online, by personal-manual search in MaraCo and/or other obit-obtaining related info. Would it be "too much-space-taken" for persons to "start to post" obits...say prior to 1900 or 1920 or so? Personally, I just ran across an obit which I believe the grandchildren (now &80's) yrs-old) do not have....so this is a timely-topic; also, believe the husband may have "tossed" some "saved" obits (those guys!). And/or are there any sites that deal only with the "posting-of-Wausau (early) obits" (free or paid and price asked for). Thank you. G.

My home town (Marathon City) has families that spell their name Busko. Have you tried looking under that spelling? The Marathon City Centennial booklet lists Frank J. Busko as being in the Navy during WWI. The St. Mary's church directory lists David on County Highway O (54448-9766) and Joseph and Debra at 716 Washington Street in Marathon (54448-9349). Could the wife's name be Pelagia? That is a pretty common name in my Polish ancestors. I haven't seen the spelling Pelegria.
