Edward Bertz officiated and burial was in the parish cemetery. Mr. Christman was born March 11, 1878, in Loyal and was married to Elsie Emerson Trinrud at Loyal. Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Kilbourn, Milwaukee, Mrs. Lawrence Emerson, Wisconsin Rapids, Mrs. R. S. Scott, Portland, Ore., and Mrs. Caroline Andraska, Loyal, and two brothers, Anthony Christman, Loyal, and Peter Christman, Spencer.

Mrs. Mathilda Kischel, 96, died Saturday evening at Arcadia, Calif. She was a former resident of Wausau and had been living with her daughter, Mrs. Leslie Wyre. Funeral services will be held in Arcadia Wednesday afternoon and burial will be in a Chicago cemetery. Mrs. Kischel was born in Milwaukee Jan. 23, 1859, and had lived during her early years near Hancock. She married Gustav C. Kischel June 27, 1897. He died Oct. 21, 1917. Mrs. Kischel left here about 25 years ago. Surviving are the daughter; seven step-children, Mrs. Martha Murray, Los Angeles, Calif., Burt G. Kischel, San Antonia, Tex., Oscar B. James J. McCunn, 54, 824 S. Eighth Ave., died suddenly of a heart attack Saturday night about 11 o'clock in his home. The Rev. Ray H. Kiely, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, will conduct funeral services tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Ritter & Deutsch Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park. A well-known local resident for 31 years, Mr. McCunn was a bus driver for the Wausau Transit Lines, Inc., and formerly for the Wisconsin Public Service Corp. when that firm operated the city bus services. Born March 24, 1901, the son of the late James D. and Addie Barr McCunn, he was a native of Saxeville. He was married here June 14, 1924, to Miss Lillian Zachek, who survivies. He was a deacon of the First Presbyterian Church, a World War I veteran and a member of the Quarter Century Club of Wisconsin Public Service Corp. Surviving, besides the widow, are a son, James C. McCunn, 324 1/2 S. Eighth Ave.; three brothers, John McCunn, Selah, Wash., and William and George McCunn, Seattle, Wash.; six sisters, Mrs. Austin Massart and Mrs. Charles Emery, Seattle, Wash., Mrs. James Hambrecht and Mrs. Patricia Writer, Portland, Ore., Mrs. Ruth Knowles, Coalinga, Calif., and Mrs. Richard Hostman, Salinas, Calif., and a grandchild.

Word has been received here of the death of David Dalbec, 6-month-old son of Sgt. and Mrs. Leon Dalbec. The infant died last Friday near Frankfort, Germany, where Sgt. Dalbec is stationed with the U.S. Army. The body will be brought to the Ritter & Deutsch Funeral Home here for services, but the time of arrival was not learned today. The infant was born Dec. 4, 1954, in Germany, where his father has been stationed for about a year and a half. His mother, the former Miss Lorraine Ramirez, went to Germany in the spring of 1954. Surviving besides the parents, are the paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Dalbec, Schofield, and the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Ramirez, Inkster, Mich.

Franklin St., she was reported dead on arrival at a local hospital. Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock in the Helke Funeral Home and that afternoon at 2 o'clock in St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Ervin Seidel officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park. Mrs. Haese, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lange, was born Feb. 17, 1879, in the Town of Wausau. She was married here May 16, 1900, to August Haese, who survives. She was a life-long resident of the area. George Johnson, pastor of the Methodist Church in Wittenberg, will officiate and burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery in that village. The body is at the funeral home. Mr. Day was born Oct. 9, 1889, in the Town of Elderon and married Orva St. Thomas in Birnamwood Nov. 29, 1922. He had served as a director and clerk of his school district years ago. He was also a pioneer member of the Badger Consolidated Co-operative in Shawano. Surviving are the widow and three daughters and three sons, Mrs. Frank Kilby, San Antonio, Tex., Mrs. Ervin Huckbody, 2204 N. Wagner St., Garold Day, who is in the Armed Forces at Ft. YOUTH SHOOTS SELF AFTER CAR MISHAP Edward Dean Long, 18, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Chancie Long, Town of Wittenberg, died from a self-inflicted 22-caliber rifle wound in his forehead near the backdoor of his grandparents home yesterday morning about 3 o'clock according to the sheriff of Shawano County. The body was discovered about 6 o'clock yesterday morning by the grandmother, together with a note bidding the grandparents goodbye. The suicide followed an accident he had at 1:15 o'clock yesterday morning when his recently purchased car, a 4-door sedan, rolled over while he was driving on a road in that vicinity, it was reported. Three other occupants of the car and Long escaped injury. He was born March 9, 1937, at Elmhurst, Ill., and had lived with his grandparents all his life. He was a graduate of the Wittenberg High School, class of 1954, and had been since employed as a farm hand in the Town of Wittenberg. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Burton Hanson, Milwaukee; a half-brother, Scott Hanson, Milwaukee, and the grandparents. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Schmidt Funeral Home in Wittenberg. The Rev. Olivet cemetery in that city. Mr. Ziemba was born September 12, 1882, in Poland and emigrated to America 42 years ago. He married Angeline Czado February 20, 1905, in Detroit. He had lived in the town of Knowlton the past 27 months and wsa engaged in farming. Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha Lapp, 78, Dorchester, who died last Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. M. J. Weix, in that village after three years illness, were held Friday afternoon at Salem Evangelical church in Dorchester. The Rev. Raymond Browe officiated and burial was in Pine Tree cemetery at Curtiss. Pallbearers were Herman Lapp, Abbotsford; Arthur Klocke and Reinhold Kloske, Curtiss, and Lee Jensen, Emil Meyer and Charles Lapp, Dorchester. Mrs. Lapp was born in Sheboygan December 25, 1865, and moved to the Dorchester community at the age of 16 years. She married Jacob Lapp at Curtiss in 1885. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors and the ladies aid society of Salem church. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Edith Sturner, Holcombe, Mrs. Verna Rasmen, Antigo, and Mrs. Weix. Six of her grandchildren are in the armed forces.
