All these photographs were taken in Wausau, Wisconsin. I'm hoping to locate someone from this family so that the photographs can be returned to the family. Gustav Julius Perske, 87, a local resident for 74 years, died Saturday afternoon at 5 o'clock after a lingering illness. Funeral services will be tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Ritter & Deutsch Funeral Home, with the Rev. P. W. Roehrs, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery later in the spring. Mr. Perske was born Feb. 25, 1870, in Germany, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Carl Perske. He came to America at the age of 13 with his parents and was married in the city Jan. 12, 1894, to Miss Wilhelmina Ahlmann, who died March 17, 1929. For more than 40 years, Mr. Perske had been custodian of the Franklin School. Surviving are two sons, Paul F. Perske, 315 Lincoln Ave., and Bernhardt Perske, 120 S. Fifth Ave., six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Martha Schara was born Oct. 4, 1912, in Edgar, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Schara, and married Mars Leonhard June 5, 1940, in Halder. She was a member of the Christian Mothers Society. They had lived on a farm in the Town of Emmet since their marriage. Surviving are the widower and a sister and two brothers, Miss Lucille and Henry and Ray Schara, Town of Emmet.

The body will be at the Sauter Funeral Home in Stratford tomorrow morning and will be taken to the church Wednesday at 1 o'clock. Wilhelmina Wegner was born in Germany March 17, 1870, and in 1889 accompanied her parents to Fayette, Iowa, where she married Joseph Wazlawske on Aug. 10, 1891. He died in 1940. They moved to Bailey's Harbor, Door County, after their marriage and in 1895 returned to Fayette. In 1912 they moved to the Town of McMillan and in 1947 moved to Stratford. Surviving are two sons and two daughters, Arthur Wazlawske and Mrs. Hattie Rau, Stratford, Carl Wazlawske, Waukegan, Ill., and Mrs. Charles Potter, Fayette; seven grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Bernard Ellenbecker, Unity; two sons, John L. and Lawrence Mauritz, Dorchester; a brother, Joseph Mauritz, Town of Johnson; a sister, Mrs. William Proft, Town of Johnson; and 11 grandchildren. Another son, Frank George Mauritz, was killed at the age of 20 years in a car accident in 1952 while he was in military service.

Kohn officiated and burial was in the Merrill Cemetery. Mr. Fechtner was born June 10, 1879, in Germany and at the age of 13 years accompanied his parents to America. During the early 1930s he lived for several years in Wausau and was employed in the sash and door industry. He married Flora Wendorf June 21, 1902. She died last July. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. E. A. Peterman and Mrs. Gus Saeger, Merrill; a son, Reno Fechtner, Laona; a brother, Albert Fechtner, Merrill; three grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

John Freed will officiate at funeral services tomorrow at 2 o'clock in Bethlehem Lutheran Church at Merrill for Wilbur Otto Gunell, 50, Merrill, who died suddenly at home Monday night about 10 o'clock after returning there from a dartball game. The body will be taken to the church tomorrow at 10:30 o'clock from the Krueger Funeral Home in Merrill and burial will be in the Merrill cemetery. Mr. Gunell was born Jan. 1, 1908, in Merrill, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Otto Gunell. He was plant superintendent of the Merrill Woolen Mill. He was active in sports for many years. He married Lauretta Faufau Sept. 19, 1931, in Irma. Surviving are the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Richard Matthies, Wauwatosa, and Miss Dianne Kay Gunell, Highland Park, Ill., and three sisters, Mrs. Olga Kauth, Milwaukee, Mrs. Manville Thomas, 119 S. Eighth Ave., and Mrs. Walter Lambrecht, Merrill.

Ervin Seidel, pastor of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park. The body will be in the funeral home from tomorrow evening at 7 o'clock until the time of services. A life-long resident of this area, the deceased was born Jan. 6, 1897, in the Town of Easton, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Rollenhagen. He was married in the city June 22, 1918, to Miss Norma Tress, who survives. Mr. Rollenhagen was an employe of Wausau Paper Mills Co. at Brokaw. Surviving, besides the widow, are a daughter, Mrs. Rose Pope, Town of Texas; a sister, Mrs. Anita Newell, Appleton, and a brother, Eldred Rollenhagen, Anaheim, Calif.

A resident of Elderon for 52 years, Mrs. Wolden had been in ill health about three years. Funeral services will be Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, Elderon, with the Rev. E. L. Peterson officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Rest Cemetery, Elderon. The body will be in the Schmidt Funeral Home, Wittenberg, from tomorrow afternoon at 1 o'clock until noon Friday and in the church from Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock until the rites. Mrs. Wolden was born June 5, 1864, in New Hope, Portage County. She was married Aug. 25, 1891, in Amherst to Peter H. Wolden, who died in 1947. The couple resided on a Portage County farm until 1905, when they moved to Elderon. Mrs. Wolden was a charter member of the Ladies Aid Society of Our Saviour's Church. Surviving, besides the daughter with whom she was living, are three other daughters, Miss Pearl Wolden, Merrill, Mrs. Arthur McCarthy, Minneapolis, and Mrs. Helen Joslin, Milwaukee; a sister, Mrs. Ida Tockley, Merrill; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Gerald Kohn, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill, will officiate and burial will be in the Merrill Cemetery. The body will be at the funeral home tomorrow morning. Mr. Steffenhagen was born in Germany Feb. 19, 1875, the son of the late Albert and Johanna Gutknecht Steffenhagen. He came to the Town of Berlin in 1879 and lived there until 1908, when he located in Merrill, where he was a carpenter for many years. He was married in 1899 to Mathilda Voigt, who died in 1909. In 1910 he was married in Merrill to Ida Teske, who died Sept. 12, 1952. Surviving are a stepson, Earl Steffenhagen, and a stepsister, Mrs. Carl Steffenhagen, the latter of the Town of Berlin. Another stepsister, Mrs. Albert Utecht, Wausau, died several years ago.
