Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in St. Stephen's Lutheran Church at Edgar and burial will be in the Edgar cemetery. The body will be in the Gilles and Son Funeral Home at Athens Wednesday. Born in Germantown Feb. 26, 1878, Mrs. Tessmer was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Adam Hoffman. She married the late August Tessmer Nov. 17, 1896, in the Town of Rib Falls, where Mr. Tessmer farmed for about 57 years. He died in 1953. She was an Athens resident about 10 years. She survives. He was an employe of the International Harvester Co. at Chicago before moving to the Mosinee area, and was a veteran of World War I, during which he served four years in the Navy. Wilbur H. Paulmann, 48, 602 Knox St., collapsed while at work about 1 p.m. Monday and was dead on arrival at Memorial hospital. Death was due to a heart attack, according to Coroner William O'Connor. Paulmann was working in the warehouse of Phillips Liquor Co. when he fell to the floor. A fellow worker attempted to revive him while the ambulance was on the way. He had been under a doctor's care for some time for a heart condition. The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Paulmnn, Mr. Paulmann was born Jan. 10, 1918 in Wausau. He married Irene Sternberg, who survives, Oct. 18, 1952 in Wausau. Other survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Rudolph Mackoway, Rothschild, and Mrs. Herman Tesch, Schofield Route 1. She was born in Germany , I believe in Pomerania, on October 7,1856 and died in Wausua January 16, 1931. She married Wilhelm Ninneman on April 18,1881 in Germany..The came to Phidelphia on the ship Zeeland from Antwerp on May 16, 1881. Ernstine had a brother Carl Gralow born October 20,1850 who also lived in Marathon County. Is there any any connection to your Gralows? Helen
