    1. [WILSON-L] WILSON/WOODALL/PERKINS CONNECTION - 1800'S GA, AL & TN
    2. Frances/Francis Woodall, female born about 1823, probably in GA Lewis or Louis Woodall, male born about 1847, in GA Paulina J. Woodall, female born about 1849, probably in GA John H. Woodall, male born about 1857, probably in GA The above Lewis/Louis Woodall is said to have been bound over to Thomas Wilson and wife, Mildred Rogers Wilson about 1855. Thomas Wilson was living in Bellefonte, Jackson Co, AL at the time and Lewis/Louis Woodall and his mother, Frances, were living in Stevenson, Jackson Co, AL when Lewis/Louis went to live in the Wilson home. He later left to fight in the Civil War and after the war, Louis/Lewis settled in KY. I don't know what happened to Paulina and John, Lewis/Louis' siblings. Could the Hodges surname be connected to the Woodall surname? Lucinda Perkins, female born about 1818, probably in TN. Lucinda could be her first or middle name. She could have been on other census' under either her first or middle name. CHILDREN: John Perkins, male born about 1838, probably in TN Mary A. Perkins, female born about 1849, probably in TN Martha J. Perkins, female born about 1851, probably in TN William H. Perkins, male born about 1853, probably in TN George H. Perkins, male born about 1856, probably in TN Could the Hodges surname be connected to the Perkins surname? Several of the above Perkins and Woodall children have "H" as a middle initial and I've found several Hodges near other Woodall and Perkins families in other places. These 2 families were shown living in the same household on the 1860 Jackson Co, AL Census. I think they were probably related. No husbands were shown for either family. Later, on the 1880 Marion Co TN census, Lucinda is found living in the home of her daughter Martha J. Perkins Rogers and her husband William Rogers. Martha J. Perkins Rogers indicated that her father was born in KY. I have been unable to find anything further on these 2 families. Surely there must be Woodall and Perkins researchers who can identify and place these people. The only Lucinda Perkins found on the earlier 1850 TN census is a Lucinda Perkins found in Hardin Co, TN; this Lucinda is too young to be the Lucinda I seek. I haven't been able to find her on earlier AL Census sheets. I really need help with these families. Paula
