Son John was born 1821 in In. I really wish we had the same relatives and could help each other. Thanks for the response. He's the brother of my gggrandfather, Francis Marion Wilson. I'm not sure where Solomon ended up after the Civil War, but I've meant to do some research as I know that his brother Jacob and his father Jesse headed west from Ohio. Jesse died in 1870 in Illinois. This Solomon was in the 78th OVI. Is this any help?
