As far as I know, he was born in AL but lived in Berkeley Co SC where he died in 1905. His father was one John Wilson, who is my really BRICK wall. In the 1850 census John is shown living with his son Isaac and his daughter-in-law Julia Elizabeth Jackson Wilson. Jim Swanson
