    3. Beware ancestry.com is a subscription service and they do not tell you when they charge your Visa/Mastercharge, etc. for renewal And try canceling your subscription...they make it almost impossible to contact them to cancel. ----- Original Message ----- From: <Punkineader@aol.com> To: <WILSON-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, May 01, 2003 5:16 PM Subject: Re: [WILSON-L] Resources > In a message dated 5/1/2003 1:17:12 PM Central Daylight Time, > AmiS@xenologix.com writes: > > > > considering a membership to either Ancestry.com or Genealogy.com. 3. Ancestry.com has always called and also sent me e-mails to let me know ahead of time when my subscription is up for renewal. This is the part of the e-mail that tells you how to get in touch with them. I've never had a problem with this. If you wish to cancel your subscription, please call 1-800-ANCESTRY between 8:00AM and 5:00PM MST, BEFORE you are automatically renewed. Please select prompt number 4.
