    3. Vivian, Do you know anything about your John Wilson's grandchildren? My grandmother was born in MS, but I don't know where and I don't know her parents names, but on one of the census records it says that her father was born in IN. I wondered if maybe you had some information that might help me out. She was born in maybe 1850, or 1854, the date is illegible. Her name was Rebeccka Ann. She married John Warren Minton sometime around 1879 or 1880. Their 1st child Sarah was born in Oct 1881. So far I have been unable to find out where they were married or what part of MS she was born in. She disappeared from the census between 1900 and 1910. My ggrandfather is buried at Mt Zion Bapt Church Cemetery in Copiah County MS and I assume that she is buried there too, but I have no idea where the graves are or even if they are marked because Mt Zion keeps no records and it was started in the early 1800s. I only found out that he was buried there because of his death certificate because my father remembered when he died. When she died they didn't keep death records so I really have hit a brick wall. I have found a Rebecca Ann Wilson that was born in Pontotac County MS, that is in the right age range and her fathers name is John W. Wilson and her mother was Mary or Polly Huckabee, but that is a little far north in the state for her to have met my grandfather. However that is where I will start looking as soon as I can to see if that joins up with anything that I have. Diane M.
