My brickwall is James Wilson b. 1767. Is anyone researching a Robert Wilson who was an early settler in TN and lived in what became Blount Co? He has a will with a son James who rec. one dollar in Robert's will and in the estate settlement it states that James never returned for his dollar. As James' father is reported to be Robert in a family Bible...I'm seeking more info on this Robert who was b. abt. 1740. Any ideas are most welcome. Thanks. Dee Wilson-Swain

Wish I knew. My John Wilson had a son that married a girl (Rice) from KY. Two other children stayed in Kentucky. I have no other information regarding John's parents or siblings other than he died in Loudoun Co. Va.
