My Ludson Wilson was born in 1805 in Henry Co or Henrico. Our Family Bible is very old and fragile and the script is hard to read. He is my ggg grandfather and he married my ggg grandmother at he age of 39 in Mississippi and then moved to La. We are fairly certain that this was his second marriage because of his age. His wife was a lot younger than he was. Her name was Sarahann Lewis and she was born in 1820 in Miss. I have finally found out the Ludson was an English name. It is very unusual and there have been very few people in the US at any time with that name. Ironically, a Ludson Worsham was born about the same time and place, but he seems unrelated. Our Ludson Wilson named his children Indiana and Rezin Steele Wilson in naming patterns are of any help. He died in 1859 and so did his son who was only 15. To this day the first male child in the family always has the middle name Wilson. I wish that we could find some connection. I do not see any Chinns in our Bible, but his first marriage could have been to someone with that name? Karen Moore Kerr __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo!
