Has anyone tried to do rubbings from tombstones? If so, could you share any hints as to the best process for this?
Hello, Trying to read a dark stone is hard to do. My old aunt takes a bag of flour, yes kitchen flour, and we sprinkle it on the stone and the engraving is readable. The last time she took her talcum powder and dusted them with the fuzzy thing that comes in the powder. Pictures come out well but you can tell we've put powder on some of them. A container of baby powder would work too and would be easy to carry along.
