Robert Wilson married 1 October 1807 Jefferson County KY: Mary (Overstreet) Mitchell, daughter of James and Anne (-----) Overstreet and widow of Daniel Mitchell. Daniel and Mary (Overstreet) Mitchell had at least five children. In 1818 Robert and Mary Wilson were living in Jefferson County KY. Mary's Mitchell children moved first to Indiana and then by 1849 to Wapello County IA. It was said that Mary moved with them, but I have not yet found her in the census. I'd be grateful if anyone can identify Robert and Mary Wilson amongst the many census entries for Robert Wilson in Kentucky or Indiana, and if anyone can tell me whether Robert and Mary had any children.
