    2. I'll consider that point and I haven't considered it. I mostly was trying to find Descendants of Harry Preston hopefully to contact today for old pictures and handed down stories. I will say I have thought of them being named after a newly formed Preston County or whoever it was the county was named for just as seems like half my husbands line has been named Andrew Jackson, Thomas Jefferson and George Washington. I also have a John Melton Wilson, whose ggrandfather on his mother's side was John Milton Jones from Highland County, WV. Thanks for responding. Any ideas keep my mind to moving with possible solutions and avenues to check.
