In 1860 Bellefonte, Jackson County, AL census in household #163, Louis Woodall, age 13 (born ca 1847) is shown living in the household of a Thomas Wilson, 59 yrs old, born ca 1801 in TN. Wife is Mildred (Rogers??) Wilson, 48 yrs old, born VA ca 1812. Other children shown are: Kitty Ann, 14; Paulina, 12; Manerva, 11; Miriah, 9; and Samuel, 4; all born in AL. Could Lewis Woodall be kin to Thomas Wilson or his wife? Could Thomas Wilson and Lewis Woodall be kin to my Abraham/AbramWilson, born ca early 1850's in GA and my GA/ALWoodalls? Sandra Jones sent me the following in Aug of 2002 after receiving information from pension records: >He was bound (I think that's what it says) to > Thomas Wilson of Jackson County, AL (can't read the city Be....) when > he was 8 or 9 years old until he enlisted. Lewis' mother lived nearby > he says 18 or 20 miles away as far as he knew, but he only saw her > once after he was bound. Lewis's father was Elias Woodall and his > Mother was Frances Roser(sp? hard to read) Woodall. Elias died 2 or 3 > years before Lewis went to the Wilsons. Lewis was born in what appears > to be Walker County, GA. Will give you more as I dig through this > mountain of a pension record. Sandi Jones Can anyone furnish more information on Thomas Wilson and Mildred (Rogers?) Wilson? Paula
