I'm looking for any and all information on the Wilson brothers that settled in Milford Twp. in what is now Juniata County (originally Mifflin County). I have it that they came to the area in the mid 1700's and that William Penn had given them a large tract of land in return for chasing squatters out of the area. Their names were Thomas and James Wilson. James left and went south but Thomas stayed and founded the town of Port Royal. I'm a descendant of Mary "Polly" Wilson that was born in Port Royal in abt 1802 and is most likely the granddaughter of one of the two brothers. She married John Webb on August 15, 1826 at the Lost Creek Presbyterian Church in Juniata Co., PA. I have nothing on her parents, just the likelihood that she is descended from this line. I understand that other Wilsons came into the area, but I don't know in what time period. They may have been related too considering that Thomas was trying to get a town settled.
