Hi, Pat and Wilson List Happy New Year! I'm searching for my greatg-grandfather 1st name unknown, and little information on him. But could be John as a son born shortly after his death? was named John? also could have been William? ( my cousin had heard this somewhere??) His wife Christina Frey/Fry was born PA.1816, My guess he was born before that (1816) in PA./VA? 1st child born 1834 in PA.? They were in Monongalia VA. and Fayette PA. area when some of their children were born, ( I only have Girls? Angeline 1834, Harriett 36, Mary Ann 37, Emma 47) left there (PA./VA.) in early 1850 for Iowa , The Family arrived in Iowa April 23, 1850 I have not found anything on the Unknown husband or father Wilson, don't know if he died or left before,during or after the trip to Iowa? The son John was born abt. Aug. 4, 1850 in Clayton County IA.
