Hello list, While researching at the National Archives in D.C., I copied some records concerning William H. WILSON, a private in Co. I, 13th Tennessee Cavalry (Union). He lived in Ashe Co. NC in the area of Solitude. His wife was Diannah OSBORN. This is not the William H. WILSON that I was searching for and I would be glad to send these records to someone who is. My William H. WILSON was married to Sarah Jane WATT and died about 1917 probably in Asheville, NC. If anyone can help me with this William H. WILSON, please respond. Wow, Fran, talk about coincidences! My g-g-grandfather was a William H. Wilson (1849-1923) and his granddaughter, Viola, married a WATT. They were from IL.
