Yes, I have the index for Denton Co., TX. I have it loaned out right now to another researcher, but I believe it starts about 1885-1912 - by Diana White. The Martha I am looking for would have married John W. Hicks ca. 1870-71. Their first child that I know of is Lewis W. Hicks b. Nov. 1872 In the index Mrs. Martha Hicks married W.P. Johnson Jan 19, 1902, have sent for and received marriage record. Unfortunately nothing on it states her maiden name. Also have History and Reminiscences of Denton County, by Ed. F. Bates I have been very generously given photo's of Martha and some of her children including my g-grandmother ( Martha's daughter) Cora Lee "Hicks" Duncan by Jean B.
