Thanks. There could be a connection but our belief that the line came down through Virginia to North Carolina. But some of them could have branched out into what is now West Va, and probably did. But I think mine were probably in NC before your granddad's time. On one side a Melinda Wilson was born in 1810, I think in NC. I think. Would have to look up the other side, but I think it's more recent. I can't find Cages Bend, TN in my Inadequate Atlas. Is it close to KY or NC? I knew an Ed Wilson, we called him Eddie. He was married briefly to my youngest aunt. This would have been during the 1930s. All my TN connections are from East Tennessee. I'm finding they moved and moved and moved some more, without regard to State lines. My mother's childhood home was also swallowed up--by Fontana Dam in Swain Co., NC. ----- Original Message ----- From: "ED Wilson" <ed.wilson@attbi.com> To: <WILSON-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, April 30, 2003 11:34 PM Subject: Re: [WILSON-L] DNA Project: > cages bend tenn-abt 7 miles from gallatin--got swallowed up by the tva in > late 1920's--i go by eddie in the family--but born in 1937 in wa state where > i live > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Anne Haines" <annerhai@adelphia.net> > To: <WILSON-L@rootsweb.com> > Sent: Wednesday, April 30, 2003 3:53 PM > Subject: Re: [WILSON-L] DNA Project: > > > > Thanks.
