    3. Ya know it drives me nuts...... It was said in our family that we were related to both presidents Wilson and Adams and I have yet to find a connection. Reason? 2 part. One, my grandmother has passed and I started our genealogy from scratch "until" I discovered relatives that had all kinds of stuff and got my hands on some papers my great-aunt had. Second - I have brick walls on both Adams and Wilson lines. No parents etc. to even get me close to a "genealogy line". The only lineage on the presidents I've seen is from them back. How can one find who is related and see if some lines connect from them down. 3. Well, here's another two cents worth: As I understand it, you really can't connect from Wilson and Adams on down. You have to start with yourself and work back. Tough, but true. (My mother was convinced that she was descended from Queen Anne, none of whose children lived to grow up, by another line.) And there are so many Wilsons. Unfortunately, my sister cannot find male relatives to check on our surnames, except for one or two. You have to have a male relative with the surname WILSON, for instance. It can only tell you if there are any other Wilsons out there who have had the test and who are of the same line. Who knows, one of them might be related to Woodrow. I have forgotten if he had brothers or uncles who would have carried that Wilson line. I have a Wilson line on both sides, but I haven't connected with anybody yet. Anybody from VA, NC, TN? Maybe I'm on the wrong list. Anne Haines, who inherited from somebody a distinct tendency to shoot off her mouth. .----- Original Message ----- From: "Janean Ray" <JRay38@neo.rr.com> To: <WILSON-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, April 30, 2003 10:46 AM Subject: Re: [WILSON-L] DNA Project: > Ya know it drives me nuts...... 3. Ann, my Wilson's are from Virginia, at least my brick wall, John Wilson was buried in Loudoun Co. (Middleburg) His wife's family were all from that area ( CHINN's) I also had Wilson's associated with my Adams line from S.C. but again, do not know where they originated, other than Ireland and ended up in S.C. Another brick wall. 3. Would be interested in that information if you have it. I just spent "forever" on google and everything I clicked on was either slow or got mega pop-ups and other crap. I've tried looking before, many times, and just can't seem to find anything. Help!
