Thank you for the response. I also think that we have two different James Wilsons. My James supposedly died about 1841 at the home of one of his sons in Cincinnati, Ohio at about age 63. I haven't found his death record or burial site yet, so I'm using second hand info. One of his other sons, John C. Wilson, lived in Buckskin Township, Ross County, Ohio all of his life, and at one time owned quite a bit of land there. The only info that I have about James is a couple of lines in a document about George C. Wilson, a son of John C. There is a mention about the grandfather of George, James Wilson of Virginia, who served with General George Washington, and died 1841 in Cincinnati. Not much info to work with.
