I was/am hoping that someone will be able to make a connection to Matthew from another line...as is the son John Sr. is the only one right now that I have anything on..so I leave all possibilites open right now until I have evidence that says otherwise. It is the best info that I have seen in years. Most of your names will match up with names that I have in my Wilson family. I don't have a birth date for James, but I would guess somewhere in the 1740s -1750s, or maybe even as late as 1760. He served in the Revolutionary War and fathered a son (John) in 1796. My James supposedly died in Cincinnati, Ohio. My John, born in 1796, arrived in Ross County, Ohio in late December 1800. Does this info eliminate your James and John?
