In the 1820 census of Hopewell twp. Muskingum Cty, Ohio, there are several Wilsons listed: John, Henry, Elisabeth, Nathan, and Robert. In the 1830 census only John and Henry remain. By 1840, Henry remains and Jesse (my ancestor) appears. I've always wondered if these Wilsons are the same family and if, perhaps, Robert is Jesse's father, but so far no luck.
