Mary, back in Feb 1998 we corres re our MARQUIS, VANCE, MCCAULEY,COLVILLE.. ancestors in 1700s Frederick Co, VA at which time you indicated "there is a question as to whether or not Wm MARQUIS b ca 1763 & Margaret COLVILLE were indeed Thomas' [b 1710] parents". [I descend from Thomas & Margaret COLVILLE MCCAULEY via their dau Eliz 1754 who m my gf Daniel MCCAULEY.] Has any support surfaced since 1998 that adds light to this doubt?? Do you know of anyone that is researching this problem?
