Nadine, is the index just for marriages in Emanuel Co.? My Wilson line is mainly from Bulloch so far that I have found. However the parents of "my" Joseph Wilson married Emmaline Bowen and I have not been able to locate their marriage information. I believe that Joseph's father is Samuel Wilson but don't know for sure the mother's name, either Elizabeth or Martha from some of the records I have research in Bulloch County. It is anybody's guess as to where they were married. One of the records I found, a census I think states that Joseph was born in Screven County but again I have no documentation. Both Joseph and Emmaline are buried on what used to be their farm I think. The cemetery is surrounded by corn or cotton at times, the owner now is a descendant of Joseph.
