WILSON, John H., b. 1861, d.1939 WILSON, Rebecca Jane, b. 1861, d. 1935 Notice how the family changed the spelling from WILLSON to WILSON. On all census records they are shown as WILSON. My G. GM is the Nancy Ellen WILSON listed on the 1880 Census above. I believe her father to be Daniel I. WILSON but haven't proven this yet. Apparently Nancy's father had died by the 1880 census as she and her mother, Lula WILSON were living with Lula's mother in law Mary WILSON. Family story goes that Nancy Ellen's mother's maiden name was NORWEATHER and that she was an immigrant from Ireland, this hasn't been proven. The family was always told that Nancy Ellen WILSON was born in Montgomery, Alabama-this would explain why Daniel I. WILSON isn't buried at the Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church Cemetery in Dale County if he died near Montgomery he would have been buried there. After the fathers death Lula and Nancy Ellen moved back to Dale County and lived with Lula's mother in law, Mary. Nancy Ellen WILSON was born: Dec. 22, 1875 in Montgomery, Alabama to Lula WILSON and who I believe would be Daniel I. WILSON. Mary WILSON moved to the Mt. Pleasant Community in Shelby County, Texas in 1881. This is in East Texas. Most of her family moved with her but a few stayed in Alabama. Mary WILSON and her family are buried at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Shelby County, Texas. This used to be a Methodist church but is now a Church of Christ. This WILSON line is predominantly Methodist. Here is the Mt. Pleasant cemtery listing: Alonzo Wilson 11-14-1921 04-28-1999 Sgt., U.S. Army - Husb of Doris Marie Williams Amanda E. Wilson 04-16-1849 06-21-1890 Wife of James W. Wilson I've discovered that a WARR family was living next to the WILSON'S in Alabama and there are several WARR'S buried in this cemetery so I feel that the WILSON'S and WARR'S moved to East Texas from Alabama together in 1881. I'm looking forward to hearing from anyone with information on these families. Thank you, Troyce Hendricks
