Well I'm back to zero again. Thank you for the info. -----Original Message----- From: Steven J. VA./WV Wilson's The Samuel Wilson who married Ann Siron is not the person you are looking for. I have a brief family history for him and he doesn't appear to have been been married before. Samuel's second wife was Esther BLAGG. There is no James S. Wilson listed among this Samuel's children by either wife. (Samuel may have had a brother Isaac who married Mary McAvoy of Bath and moved to Indiana.) The other Samuel Wilson, who married Jame Armstrong, appears to be the son of Elibab Wilson of Doe Hill, Highland Co. (then still part of Pendleton Co.), VA. He died there in 1834. He can't be who you're looking for either. I found one other marriage in Pendleton County which may be of interest: Samuel Wilson was married to Sarah Morten on 29 August 1820 by Otho Wade. Marriage bond: 9 August 1820. Bondsmen: Samuel Wilson and Edward Morton. (I believe that at the time of the Revolution there was an Edward Morton lived in what is now Bath County.) I don't know who this Samuel Wilson is the son of.
