Okay now that we have everyone putting in their Wilson line I want to put this one in. John Wilson B. 22 Apr 1770 Where we don't know for sure D 31 March 1824 I think in Ohio Married on 28th of Nov 1793 in Caroline Co., Maryland Sarah Charles B. 25 April 1775 in Caroline Co., Maryland D. 24 Oct 1814 in Ohio Children was : 1. James WILSON ::: John WILSON was born 1795 in Maryland and migrated to Pickaway County, Ohio with his parents in the 1810s. I believe his father's name was James. I know nothing about his mother other than there was a "Widdow Wilson" in Walnut Township of Pickaway County, in 1831; and I have two photographs of his mother, probably copies of daguerreotypes taken in the 1840s. 2. Robert S. Wilson: born 1 Feb 1798 in Maryland dead on 5 Jul 1875 in Ohio 3. Nathaniel Wilson born in 1805 in Virgina There are two other possible siblings: James WILSON, Jr.; married 1st Mary WARD, 1820 in Pickaway County; 2nd Era BYERLY, 1825 in Pickaway County; and Dorcas WILSON, married William MORRIS (Rachel MORRIS' brother) in 1818 in Pickaway County. Is it possible that the "Widdow WILSON" mentioned in the 1831 Walnut Township tax list could have been Sarah CHARLES (born 1775 in Maryland), a member of the Nicholite Quaker sect who married James WILSON, November 28, 1793 in Caroline County, Maryland? Can anyone out there help me with finding James and Sarah parents. Sincerely Donna [email protected]
