Samuel the 2nd son of Zaccheus WILSON (Senior) lived in Mecklenburg Co NC and then in Cabarrus Co., NC when it was formed out of portions of Mecklenburg Co. NC. He moved abt 1784-85 to Sumner Co., TN where his brother Major David WILSON had settled. His first wife was (not proven) Elizabeth. A second wife Sarah Moore. was named in his will made in 1814. According to family history Samuel was crippled in the French and Indian Samuel and Sarah [Moore] had three known children, James C., John L. and Zaccheus Wilson. I have not been able to locate any data for this elusive Elizabeth. Thank you for your consideration, Jean Wilson
Is this the same David that had a Son named Robert-born 1789 married to Jane Latimer? Robert and Jane were my GGGG Grandparents and I have been told that David Wilson married to a Jane Carothers was his Father and I am trying to find something=anything to prove or disprove this.
