Emma, I have two Wilson lines in East Tennessee in the very early days... Family history tells us that one of the Wilson family, Nancy, was in the area of what is now Union Co TN while the Indian Fires could still be seen in the dark. We have little on this Nancy.. She is the mother of three known Wilson men. Jesse, born 10/30/1802. Son Lewis and son Nelson birthday unknown. We have never been able to find a father for Nancy or a husband for that matter... In fact old Jesse might just have been a Massengill. A bastard bond was found in Anderson Co for a Nancy Wilson and a ? Massengill.. I have not been able to find a copy of this bond.. Anyone know of this line? My line unlike my husbands line is known to me.. Susan Wilson who married William Harrison Kincaid of the same area in Tennessee. In fact my husband likes to say that it could be said they were only an arrow shot apart.. However I find that they were separated by a river.. Think this is the Powell River.
