I now accept that Samuel Wilson that married Ann Siron is not the father of James S. Wilson of Lewis/Upshur Co. Does anyone have information on the other Samuel's in Lewis Co. <1830>? Or the Wilson's there in general. My James S. Wilson just did not appear there somehow in 1848 to marry Ann Ferrell. He was born in VA. about 1825 by the 1860 Upshur Co. census. On the 1870 Upshur census, his widow Ann has a Lewis Ferrell living on one side of her (I think her father) and Valentino Siron living on the other. House numbers in order taken 141, 142, and 143. James ties into the Lewis/Upshur Wilson's somehow. Maybe Samuel, wife Siron, was his uncle. Al Wilson
It may be just conicidental that Valentine Siron was next door to Lewis Ferrell. Valentine was a nephew of Ann Siron. However, Valentine did not live relatively close to the Wilsons in the Frenchton area although they all lived in the Banks District which covered SW Upshur Co. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Al and Brenda" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, January 24, 2005 9:34 AM Subject: [WILSON-L] Samuel Wilson's, Sr.& Jr., Lewis Co. Al, would it be helpful for me to send all of the Furrell/ Ferrell records I have captured on my Wilson data base? That would be eastern VA close the the NC border and NC. My records for the most part would be earlier ones. Sue On Jan 24, 2005, at 12:34 PM, Al and Brenda wrote: > I now accept that Samuel Wilson that married Ann Siron is not the > father > of James S.
