Is Benjamin Wilson the one who went up to Ohio and back down? As I recall, there were lots of Davissons found with that family. Our Wilsons connect to the Davissons in southern IL. Marilyn

I have a Wilson/Davidson connection in Southern IL, specifically White Co. and I believe they may have been in Hamilton Co. as well. He was William Wilson Illinois Supreme Court Justice and his wife was Mary Davidson. JANEAN, The Hamilton Co Davissons are ours and I just know there is some kind of connection, perhaps quite early between our Wilson family and the Whit Co Wilsons. They both carry some unusual given names including Riley/ Raleigh, Rufus. There were more, but I can't recall just now. One of our Davissons married into the White Co, IL Wilsons as I recall. I have not worked on the Davisson family other than to see that Edward was the earliest tracked and was b. in VA, but I don't know if that was the part which became WV. Have always thought The name is usually spelled Davisson but also found as Davison and as Davidson. I have Wilson's in Hamilton County. My Reuben (Ruben) is out of Overton County, TN. To make matters worse my grandmother Mary T. Wilson's sister married a Robert, son of Isaac born in Indiana. Well unfortunately the only Wilson I know is in White Co. IL. I really don't recognize those names but as you say, the names Riley, Rolly, Rawleigh and Rufus pop up. Depends on who spelled it.
