Jean, that was good! It gives a better time reference. Most everybody gets stuck in one time from thinking that is the being of a line. Going back to 900AD adds more too it. Also explains the unexpected genetic testing results. It is very entertaining to me since I come from a rural part of Virginia were people have not moved around much since colonial times. When you ask an older relative about "those Wilsons" a mile or two away and they will undoubtedly say, "those are not our Wilsons". When you do the genealogy, you find they are your fourth or fifth cousins. A couple of generations back some siblings got in a argument over something and suddenly nobody remembers the relationship. No wonder everybody has six fingers and two heads. Just joking of course ;-) Mark Wilson -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, February 10, 2005 5:33 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [WILSON-L] History of the Wilson Family For what it's worth??
