Ada, Do you know what company did the DNA test? Most facilities have a website to compare with other tests. I have my results listed on a number of differant sites. I will go onto the sites I am on and try to find your Henry Frank Wilson by name. I do assume that he has been listed on a site, do you have any idea what facility did his test. I will do what I can to help. It would be better if I had some sort of a hint. Please send me anything you have that may help. If you want to do this privately my direct e-mail is as follows. I can send you an e-mail that will put you on his results. I didn't want to do that without consulting you first. How would I go about getting the information that tells whether he is related to your DNA results? I am frankly not very impressed by the response we have gotten so far, but that may just be that I don't understand much about how to connect. I have been stuck for 30 years and am trying to find my great grandfather, Andy Wilson said to be from Scott County, Virginia, Scott County, TN or Scott County, Kentucky. He was probably born 1860-70 and the only thing I know definitely is that his son was Henry Frank Wilson (born 1880-1893 on March 16th depending on the document) who died in 1933 in Logan County, West Virginia. I have not been able to find Andy Wilson with Henry Frank Wilson in any of the census tracts and do not know Andy Wilson's wife's name. My dad's name was Henry Morris Wilson born March 17, 1918, died 1995 in Columbus, Ohio. If anyone has any suggestions how to solve this Wilson mystery, I'd love to hear from you. Ada G. It sure does help in our quest in finding our past. I had the test done in 2006 by Sorenson labs. The test does not answer all your questions, although it definitly will help you to know for positive that you are on the right track in your research. I am posting my DNA results here. It is R1B1C7- the Northwest Irish. If anyone who has had a test done matches this result please feel free to e-mail me. Also please post your result group to help other researhers.
