My Wilson family genealogy states that James Cunningham Wilson ( born 1618 Scotland- 1672 Calvert Co Maryland), son of George Wilsone & Alisoun married Margaret P.Gott ( 1628 Scotland- 1696 Prince George Co. Maryland) and that their son James ( 1660 Maryland - abt. 1716 Maryland) married Margaret Kidd. I found many family trees that list Margaret Kidd as the wife of the father James Cunningham Wilson. I'm pretty sure I have the linage right, but am confused when I see so many other lines saying differently. Can any one ( with sources) tell me which marriage is correct?
